How We Decide What Gets Published
Everything here passes a person before it goes live. This page explains who that person is, what they check, what gets turned down, and how to tell us when we have got something wrong.

Who is accountable
This platform is run by Admin Mary G, who reviews submissions and answers for what appears on it. Decisions are not automated and not handed to anyone else.
Questions about a particular listing go to admin@genuinesugarmummies.co.ke and reach a person.
Before a profile appears
- Contact details are tested to confirm they reach someone.
- Age is confirmed as 18 or over, see the Age Policy.
- Photographs are checked for obvious reuse from elsewhere.
- Descriptions are read against our Community Guidelines.
The Verification Guide sets out what members are asked to provide.
What we turn down
- Submissions we cannot reach to confirm
- Anyone who declines identity verification
- Photographs that appear to belong to someone else
- Anything involving a person under 18
- Requests for anything illegal in Kenya
Rejected submissions are never published, and we keep only what stops them being resubmitted.
Testimonials
The stories in Testimonials come from members who chose to send them. We edit for spelling, length and clarity. We do not change what someone said happened, and we do not write them on anyone’s behalf.
Names are sometimes shortened or changed when a member asks. Where that has happened, nothing about the account itself has been altered.
Corrections
If something published here about you is wrong, say so and we will fix or remove it. You will not be asked to demonstrate harm first, and corrections are free.
Asking to have your own listing taken down is always honoured. See Data Deletion.
Independence
Listings are not ordered by who paid. A connection package changes the service you get from us; it does not buy a better position on the site or a kinder description.
Where advertising appears, it is marked as advertising. See Advertise.
What verification cannot tell you
We would rather be plain about this than let a badge imply more than it should. Verification confirms that someone is contactable, is over 18, and has produced identification consistent with their profile. It is not a background check. It is not a criminal record check. It cannot tell you what a person intends.
Take the precautions in our Safety Tips whenever you meet someone, badge or no badge.
